My first experiment with canvas: read an image and convert it in ASCII, the final result is something like this:
this is just a screenshot, the poor Internet Explorer users now will see why they really have to change their browser (wtf, FF, Opera, Safari, Chrome… they're free !!!) but the real result is just text! So you can even select it, copy it and paste it in your favourite rich text editor!

jQuery Matrix has been tested with Firefox 3.6, Chrome, Opera and Safari (PC) but it should work with every modern browser that supports tha Canvas element (therefore IE 6, 7 and 8 won’t work).
